What does it mean when a poet is at a loss for words to describe an event? Or a musician or artist cannot combine notes or colors to produce tones and shades that express their inner eye? It indicates that their experience crossed over the border of the objective into a realm where attributes not only do not apply but do not exist.
This featureless realm consists of nothing, only subtleties that cannot be spoken of in words or conveyed through any human method.
This is the realm of Truth, where no beliefs or concepts exist. No human mind with its weighing and measuring and need to compare and contrast has ever, or could ever, visit this “location-less” place.
The mind remains bewildered and comes in to explain and create a description of what it thinks happened. However the best the mind could do is claim the overflow from this realm, the love, joy and peace that spilled out and over the body/mind.
To believe the mind was somehow responsible for these feelings is to deny this realm and attribute what happened to ‘an experience’.
No one will need tell you if you crossed this border for you did not. You remained outside while essence embraced itself, pouring bliss into bliss.
This ‘happening’, considered to be a rare event by the mind, is our experience in every moment. It appears as though it is a rare event or happening as, for the busy mind, it typically requires an extraordinary trigger. This trigger however only serves to ‘stop the mind’ resulting the revelation of ever-present Truth.
I struggle to find words as we approach that realm of Truth where these descriptions fall short.
I invite you to lose your mind and dispense with the thought that ‘transcendent events’ are required to bring forth what is always your every moment experience… Unqualified peace, joy, happiness, contentment.
