Approval Of Man

Some thoughts for no reason.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?
Or am I trying to please man?
If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

[pause]

Man is not only “people” out “there”.
Man is also the sense of “me”, the sense of separation, the sense of investment and lack.

The “me” that believes it needs to survive.
The me that believes it can be diminished or aggrandized by “others, out there”.

[pause]

God, Christ, I am?

“The only truth in the manifestation is the impersonal sense I am; the rest are concepts.”

“I don’t know” … naked, open, without the need to defend or justify.

I am aware of Awareness,
I am not fixing psychological circumstances, I am not asking anyone to like or love “me”.
I simply am.

[pause]

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.…”

[pause]

“The LORD is not another”…

The LORD is the absence/investigation of “my” personal investment, identity, doership.
… the absence/demystification of blame, shame, guilt, expectations, attachment to outcome.

[pause]

“He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.…”

[pause]

Ya but!
She did, and he did…

What do I really want?
Do I want to be right, or do I want to embrace peace?

A peace that the mind cannot understand.
A peace – the Presence of Grace – in which the imagined person dissolves and only I am.

Alone, but not lonely.

I am; like a little child.
Not childish, not a doormat.

Gifted with, and in awe about, the synchronicity, generosity and security of simply being here and now.

Love
