“An Open Loop is anything pulling at your attention that doesn’t belong where it is, the way it is.” –David Allen
Taking a moment to write down the things that are on my plate removes a big chunk of uncertainty and invites peace and clarity.
Amazingly simple.
We tend to overestimate the capacity of our mind, and we often are not aware how we waste precious energy.
There is more to it, for example how to write things down and keep them up-to-date, or how we experience different levels of energy during the day; but for right this is all it takes:
“Get things out of your head,
into a trusted system
and process frequently”.
Our minds are for having ideas, not for storing useless information.
