Speck or blame?

Dedicated to waking up from the sleep of separation…
What are we willing to sacrifice?

“You” and “me” are mental pictures in which the imagined-me tries to find itself.

“why do you look at the splinter that is in your brother’s eye and not notice the beam that is in the own eye?”

Why lecturing, why poetry, why the idea of progress?

For personal survival/gain, or to bow down to the no-thing that creates, maintains and dissolves all appearances?

Who am I?

“You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.…”

The “Me” here is Consciousness – I AM (–; before mind arises and renders “this world”).

The seeming other “me” might be seen as being proud to lecture, to have something to hold onto, to justify its separation.
Lecturing has its place and can be super important, but from Love, not the hunger and desperation of “me”.

We easily get intimidated or confused and run into immature conclusions…
this is not life, but a child in an adult body.

“‘Love the Lord yOur God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ … Do this and you will live.”…

All words as concessions:

Love is not what we “do”, but not resist; the assumed “me” veils Love.

Lord is not “another” but our own willingness to dissolve the assumed “me” into the vast open space of “I don’t know”.

God is not “another” but the cause of the phenomena of life – Consciousness – that which reads these words right now.

Neighbor is any object that arises I am aware of.

“Love your neighbor as yourself” is not to please “other” but for yourself, to not get lost in “me” (like we did for decades).

“Do this and you will live” is not about a progressive path, it is not about future happiness, but our attitude right here and now.

“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.” And Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about Him.

“Me” is being lost in speculating about appearances, in distracting itself from the paper tigers we tugged away as a child.

“Me” is being lost in words; me cannot find itself, because it is imagined since the beginning of personal time.

“Me” speaks about ‘absolute and relative’, ‘you – me’, ‘this and that’ and overlooks what it really wants.

Happiness through peace of mind, in daily living, independent of circumstances.

Thoughts, feelings, sensations, perceptions are circumstances.

We heard the words a million times, but we listened as “me”, as an assumed entity.

All the uncounted libraries and teachings are only here for “me” to dissolve as I am, here and now. Teachers are messengers, not idols, not painkillers.

Celebrating Life, Sharing, Being Practical…

We invest many calories trying to improve and justify the assumed “me”.

We might be deeply driven by our past investments and mix up on whose behalf we think and feel.

“Me” might feel afraid to dissolve.

… but I am aware of fear, I am aware of pride, I am aware of ‘other’, I am aware period.

Who am I?

When do we admit and embrace “I don’t know”?

I don’t know what I am, but beyond doubt, I am!

I am something, rather than nothing!

Thank you Magdi for hammering this home @ CauselessPeace.com.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

It is easy to get confused and intimidated by words, feelings, imaginations.
Rather than investigating, it is more familiar to habitually rush into thinking/responding for a pseudo relief.

LORD is not “another” but the absence of the assumed “me”, here and now, the Light of awareness.

I suggest to read slowly: to be the reading, aware of the words and the assumed reader; to invite understanding instead to force understanding.

We cannot be double-minded, if we love truth; at one point we stop resisting and get surrendered; gifted with seeing the game of “me”, how it is invested in defending its seeming reality.

Blaming an assumed “other” is allowed as a gift to invite a deeper investigation into reality, a deeper understanding of suffering and how suffering perpetuates itself.

Some “me” seem to be extra deeply trapped; they entertain an armor of noble intentions and exquisite book knowledge.

The good news is that “me” is only an echo from the past.

Life as Art

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived.

Maybe as guideline for the Garden Of Friends

  • We come together not to gain anything personally but to joyfully discover and sacrifice our egoic investments.
  • We allow the living discovery of how we dim the light of I am for the sake of an assumed “me”.
  • Everything can be allowed (temporarily) to discharge egoic investments; this is life.
  • We are dedicated to the highest human discovery, willing to deeply experience rather than conclude habitually.
  • A pathless path from awful to awesome to awe.
  • The fruit is unbroken peace in daily living, prior to the arising of thoughts, feelings… Peace is not a pleasure.
  • Ya but… “the belly of the mind is always hungry”…
allowing the right food: feeling/seeing/loving the addictions into the open space of awareness… (killing me softly)

“Me” might be hopelessly all over the place, but I am aware, beyond words.

My kingdom is not of this world.

yOur fulfillment is independent of circumstances, free of suffering.
Out from this non-resistance to Source, circumstances live themselves harmoniously, in ways “me” cannot figure out.

All words are only pointers, invitations to relax our investments in the separate-self.

“Only what is false can die…”

Love, Gratitude 🙏

PS: Please help me to see my blindspots, show me where I get lost in blah blah.
What is the difference between you and me but mental pictures?
