Are there different levels of consciousness?

Are there different levels of consciousness? | J. Krishnamurti
Saanen 1980 – Question #3
from Question & Answer
Meeting #5 ‘What is our consciousness?
Are there different levels of consciousness?’

Hi Holger
This video fits to your most beloved pointer:
Me and ”I am”
(I prefer nothingness because the I gets empty
and not even ”I amness” is perceived).
You might want to post it as well.
With love,
Sukho

  1. I am is not a perception. It is an apperception. I am refers to the undeniability of beingness, universal beingness.
I am aware refers to the undeniability of knowingness/awareness, the knowing aspect of reality. Universal knowingess.
In neo advaita, I am as well as I am aware are denied. Neo advaita throws the baby with the bathwater. It is a sort of heresy.
