  1. The oldest addiction is the belief that consciousness is personal and limited. The belief that I am a mortal body mind. Confusing the body mind with consciousness is the root cause of all misery.
    In the Christian tradition, it is called the original sin.
    Thought is not a problem. It is God thinking, universal thought.
    Personal thought is God’s thought as well, filtered through ignorance, filtered through the belief in mortality, filtered through the belief in a personal self.
    Do not be concerned about thought and controlling thought or purifying thought.
    Go directly to the investigation of the belief that consciousness is personal and limited.
    Find an established realized guide/friend and work closely with her/him.
